Organisational Structure

How KFM
is Organised

The Kashmir Freedom Movement operates through a democratic, multi-tiered structure designed to ensure accountability, broad participation, and effective advocacy at every level. The organisation is governed by an elected Executive Council, supported by regional coordinators, working committees, and an advisory board of scholars and legal experts.

Regional chapters operate across Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, the UK, Europe, North America, and the Kashmiri diaspora worldwide. Each chapter is empowered to run local campaigns, events, and community outreach, while operating under the unified vision and charter of the central organisation.

Executive Council

Elected leadership body responsible for strategic direction, policy, and representing KFM at international forums and the United Nations.

Regional Chapters

Active chapters across AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, UK, Europe, and North America driving grassroots action and community engagement.

Working Committees

Specialised committees for media, legal affairs, youth, research, and humanitarian outreach operating under the executive council.

Advisory Board

A panel of scholars, legal experts, and senior advocates providing guidance on strategy, international law, and political engagement.

"Our leadership does not seek power — it seeks justice. Every position in KFM is a responsibility to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir."
